Louët S15 Single Treadle Spinning Wheel

Louët S15 single treadle spinning wheel with snug new drove band (always stored with driveband off tension). The S15 is the unvarnished version of the S10, allowing you to custom finish the wood to your preference, or you can leave it as-is.

Comes complete with three large two-speed bobbins, as well as with an integral Lazy Kate thhe accommodates two bobbins for plying.

Irish tension offers a strong wakeup, but a little cross lacing (as shown) allows you to spin quite fine yarns. The orifice on these wheels makes for easy threading and accommodates the production of art yarns. A basic, reliable wheel.
